EFFEBI is an industrial plant established in 1983 conformed for the FIBERGLASS working and composite materials with state-of-art technology for pleasure boating, merchant and military boats from 15 mt up to 50 mt.

EFFEBI is acknowledged and conformed to all the Shipping Registry (RINA, Lloyd Register, Bureau Veritas, American Bureau of Shipping, Noske Veritas e KKK-Japan) and has geared the production to the Lloyd Register Quality Control and in March 2003 has obtained the ISO 9001:2000 Certification and in 2005 the ISO 14001:2004.
The main business target is the client satisfaction, keeping a policy of environmental respect.


EFFEBI is structured in various operating premises, all of them fitted with equipments and specific systems which allow to obtain a high quality product. A highly qualified technical staff controls the different working stages, to obtain the best standard corresponding to the requirements of the different Classification Societies.

EFFEBI, with its dimensions and its qualitative level, is among the first companies in Europe for processing FIBERGLASS in the naval industry.


EFFEBI has :

A Technical department for the study, planning and development of wooden mock-ups construction, moulds and FIBERGLASS manufactures and composite materials, mathematic modelling, cad-cam for milled models.
A Laboratory for the control of raw materials and laminates.
A Resin store fitted out with stainless steel tanks provided with stirrers and under nitrogen pressure kept at constant temperature.
A Department for storage and cutting of the fibers with a numerical control automatic machinery.
Boiler rooms for the temperature and humidity preservation inside the plant.
Central vacuum systems.
Extraction room centralized for the extraction and change of the air in the different departments.
Plants for the air production provided with dehumidifiers for the resin's machineries.
Joinery departments, for the construction of wooden mock-up for moulds and manufacture structures.
Painting department for the wooden mock-up and for the FIBERGLASS finished products.
Lamination departments composite materials complete with specific equipments to produce high quality laminates.
Department for composite special working: polymerization oven, cold store for prepreg, vacuum system for infusion and gluing.

A system of nitrogen production guarantees optimum conditions in the stainless steel tanks for resins storage

The cutting department of thefiberglass, carbon and kevlar for the production is organized and planned according to quality standards procedures applied in the whole production cycle.

The materials used, certified and registered for the traceability, are processed by a numerical control machinery which guarantees the maximum cutting precision and the minimum reject.

Effebi manufactures for third party vessels from 10 up to 50 mt either motor yachts or sailing yachts in polyester/vinyl/epoxy resins and composite materials.
Special care is given to the choice of materials with a continuous research and testing aimed for a continuous improvement.

An area of Effebi is used for the making of industrial products.

The technical staff can provide professional advice to the client for the choice of the best technical solution of product making.
Special care has been taken for the fitting out of this department with a polymerization and post hardening oven, cold store for the preservation of the pre-soaked materials and system for the infusion vacuum.


 

Effebi in its continuous research to improve the environment and safety in the working place, since a long time uses the infusion process.
This technique is applicable to most of the processing with remarkable advantages of salubrity in the working environment, reduction of the resin consumption and excellent compression and cohesion of the different layers foreseen by the lamination program. The infusion process allows to reach excellent results in the products making, above all for the sandwich ones, protecting the working environment salubrity since the polymerization process is completely vacuum-packed, without noxious emissions in the working area.
